FG Enhances Security in Kwara, UBA Launches Red Vault

The Federal Government of Nigeria has reassigned policemen previously engaged in VIP escort duties to focus on enhancing security in vulnerable communities across Kwara State and the North Central region. This decision follows a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 75 innocent villagers in Kwara.

Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information, confirmed this initiative, emphasizing the government's commitment to intensifying security operations in the region. President Bola Tinubu condemned the attack, describing it as a heartless act and reaffirmed the government's dedication to safeguarding Nigerian lives and enhancing security around places of worship.

In a separate development, UBA Plc officially launched the Red Vault, an innovative lifestyle platform designed to reward customers with various benefits throughout the year. Shamsideen Fashola, UBA's Head of Retail Digital Banking, highlighted the platform's aim to transform customer experiences and provide tangible value, including discounts on travel and fashion.
