Nigeria Police Deploy Tactical Assets to Kwara State After Deadly Attack

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has directed the immediate deployment of tactical and intelligence assets to Kwara State in response to a violent attack in Kaiama that resulted in the tragic loss of 75 lives. The Nigeria Police Force strongly condemned the heinous act and expressed condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Kwara State.

The IGP assured full commitment to restoring peace, ensuring justice, and enhancing security in the region. Specialized tactical units and additional resources are being deployed to Kaiama and neighboring communities to stabilize the area, strengthen security, and prevent further lawlessness.
