Nigeria Repatriates 153 Stranded Citizens from Chad, Ensures Humanitarian Support

The Federal Government of Nigeria facilitated the repatriation of 153 stranded Nigerians from Chad. The returnees, including adults, children, and infants, arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other relevant stakeholders coordinated the return process, ensuring the returnees' well-being and dignity. The government conducted biometric registration and provided immediate humanitarian assistance, such as food, water, medical care, and counseling services.

This effort reflects Nigeria's commitment to safe and dignified repatriation of its citizens from abroad.
