NEMA and IOM Repatriate 153 Nigerians from Chad, Provide Humanitarian Assistance

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) have successfully repatriated 153 Nigerians from Chad through a voluntary return program. The returnees, comprising adults, children, and infants, arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Upon arrival, the Nigeria Immigration Service conducted biometric registration and provided humanitarian assistance. This effort follows a recent repatriation of 150 Nigerians from Agadez, Niger.

The repatriation program aims to ensure the smooth reintegration of stranded Nigerians abroad.
