Nigerian Government Seeks Global Partners for Housing Delivery Boost

The Nigerian Ministry of Housing, Urban Development, and Environment, led by Minister Ahmed Dangiwa, is actively seeking global partners to enhance housing delivery as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda. During a session in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Saudi Real Estate Forum 2026, Minister Dangiwa highlighted Nigeria's significant housing demand and the need for affordable housing solutions.

The Renewed Hope Housing Program aims to align housing products with citizens' income levels, prioritizing the needs of vulnerable groups, including internally displaced persons. The program focuses on delivering housing units to various income segments, ensuring commercial viability and investor assurance.

Minister Dangiwa stressed the government's commitment to de-risking housing delivery by addressing constraints and simplifying processes to attract investments. The Renewed Hope City initiative has already demonstrated successful housing programs in Abuja, Kano, and Lagos, signaling opportunities for scalable investments in Nigeria's housing sector.
