Nigeria Shares N1.969 Trillion Revenue Among FG, States, and LGs in December 2025

In December 2025, Nigeria's Federal Government, states, and local governments shared a total revenue of N1.969 trillion through the Federal Account Allocation Committee. The revenue distribution included statutory revenue of N1.084 trillion, value-added tax revenue of N846.507 billion, and other sources.

The Federal Government received N653.5 billion, states received N706.469 billion, and local governments received N513.272 billion. Additionally, there were deductions for costs, transfers, and refunds.

The revenue distribution aimed to benefit the states, with a significant portion allocated to statutory revenue and value-added tax. The revenue sources included company income tax, import duties, VAT, oil and gas royalties, and other levies.
