FG Enhances Security Efforts Amid Borno Bombings

On Friday, during a press briefing after observing Jumaat prayer at Yahaya Road Mosque in Kaduna, Minister of Information Mohammed Idris addressed the nation regarding security issues. He urged Nigerians to remain calm as the Federal Government is committed to improving security throughout the country, particularly in Borno State, which has faced multiple bomb explosions.

Idris pledged that such incidents would not be allowed to recur and highlighted the government's efforts to ensure safety across all regions. He called for unity among both Muslims and non-Muslims, echoing President Bola Tinubu's message for Nigerians to remain steadfast and continue good deeds, especially during Ramadan.

Idris emphasized the need for collective prayer and discipline to foster national development and respect on the international stage. He also noted the importance of instilling values of honesty and fear of Allah, as taught by religious leaders, to strengthen the community.
