FG's lawsuit against suspended Senator Natasha stalls cybercrime trial

The cybercrime trial of suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha has been delayed as the case against her, accusing her of spreading false and dangerous claims against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Governor Yahaya Bello, stalled in court. The prosecution is ready with its first witness, but the defense raised objections, claiming the court lacked jurisdiction and an abuse of power.

The case has been adjourned to October 20. Natasha faces serious penalties under the Cybercrimes Act of 2024 for allegedly inciting violence in Kogi State.
