FHA to Launch Affordable Housing Project in Abia State

The Federal Housing Authority (FHA), under the leadership of Managing Director Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, is prepared to initiate the construction of the Renew Hope Housing Estate in Umuahia, Abia State.

This project aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's mandate to provide affordable housing for Nigerians. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Tuesday, with Ojo emphasizing the FHA's commitment to realizing the objectives of the Renew Hope Housing initiative.

The project will involve the construction of 1,200 housing units, including various types such as bungalows, block flats, and duplexes. The FHA has acquired 100 hectares of land from the Abia State government, led by Governor Dr.

Alex Otti, who has been recognized for his support and commitment to the welfare of the people. Ojo assured that the FHA would not abandon the project and would work diligently to ensure its success, while also calling for cooperation from the host community.
