Fidelity Bank H1 2026 Results Delayed to September 30

Fidelity Bank Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited and its shareholders of a potential delay in publishing its Audited Financial Statements for the half year ended June 30, 2026. The bank has received NGX approval for an extension of the filing deadline to September 30, 2026, pending CBN regulatory approval of the accounts.
Fidelity Bank Plc issued a press release dated August 21, 2026, disclosing that it may not meet the standard NGX deadline for publishing its Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the half year ended June 30, 2026.
The bank stated that its audit is currently being finalised. Once completed, the AFS will be submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for approval before being published in accordance with the NGX Rulebook and other applicable regulations.
Fidelity Bank confirmed it has obtained formal approval from the NGX for a filing extension to September 30, 2026. This extension is conditional on receiving CBN regulatory approval for the H1 2026 audited accounts.
The company also reminded its insiders and their connected persons that the trading window for dealing in Fidelity Bank shares is currently closed. The window will remain closed until 24 hours after the AFS for H1 2026 has been officially published.
Shareholders or stakeholders seeking further information were directed to contact the bank via email at info.investor@fidelitybank.ng or by telephone. The notice was signed by Company Secretary Ezinwa Unuigboje.
