FIFA Reveals 2027 Women's World Cup Schedule in Brazil

FIFA unveiled the official match schedule for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The tournament, the 10th edition of the Women’s World Cup and the first in South America, is scheduled from June 24 to July 25, 2027.

The Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro will host both the opening match and the final. Brazil will open their campaign at the Maracanã against their first group-stage opponents on June 24, followed by matches in São Paulo at Arena Itaquera on June 29 and at the Estádio Nacional in Brasília on July 4.

Each of the eight host cities will stage at least seven matches, ensuring that all cities play a significant role in the tournament. Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife, and Salvador will host round of 16 matches, while Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo will host quarter-finals.

The Maracanã will also host the second semi-final and will become the third stadium to host both men’s and women’s FIFA World Cup finals.
