Super Eagles Hold 26th Spot in FIFA Rankings After March

As of April 1, 2026, the Super Eagles of Nigeria remain in the 26th position in the FIFA World Rankings, as released by FIFA on their official website. This ranking follows the March international window during which the team played two friendly matches in Antalya, Turkey.

Under the management of Eric Chell, Nigeria secured a 2-1 victory against Iran on March 27 and settled for a 2-2 draw against Jordan on March 31. In the African context, Nigeria is ranked third, behind Senegal, which is currently 14th globally, and Morocco, which holds the 8th position.

The next FIFA men's world ranking will be released on June 10, 2026. The top five teams in the latest rankings are France, Spain, Argentina, England, and Portugal, with France leading at 1877 points.
