Tomori Relieved Lookman Didn't Join Inter Milan Last Summer

Fikayo Tomori, a defender for AC Milan, admitted he felt relieved that Ademola Lookman did not complete a move to Inter Milan last summer. Tomori described Lookman as a challenging opponent during his five years at San Siro.

The Nigerian forward was a target for Inter Milan, but Atalanta refused to sell him for less than €50 million. Lookman remained with Atalanta until January, when he transferred to Atletico Madrid.

Since joining Atletico, Lookman has made an immediate impact, scoring four goals and providing three assists in ten competitive appearances, helping the team reach the final of the Copa del Rey, where they will face Real Sociedad at La Cartuja Stadium on April 18. In an interview, Tomori also joked about Lookman's proposed switch to Inter collapsing.

Additionally, Tomori, who has made over 200 appearances for AC Milan, chose to represent England over Nigeria.
