Fintiri Congratulates New Adamawa ALGON Leadership

On Thursday, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri congratulated the newly elected executive members of the Adamawa State Chapter Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, which emerged from the local government elections held last month. The elections were conducted by the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission, with the People's Democratic Party winning 21 out of 21 council areas and 226 wards.

Fintiri's statement, issued by his Chief Press Secretary Humwashi Wonosik, emphasized the importance of purposeful leadership and the need for unity among the new executive members, which include Dr. Titu Obadiah as chairman, Yusuf Moham as vice chairman, and Ibrahim Jibrin as secretary.

Fintiri described the election results as a reflection of trust and confidence among council chairmen and urged the new leadership to prioritize the welfare of the people and work collaboratively to advance grassroots development across the state.
