Shettima Affirms Fintiri as APC Leader in Adamawa

On Monday, Kashim Shettima, the Vice President of Nigeria, clarified that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri remains the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State. This announcement was made during a grand reception in Yola.

Shettima emphasized the significance of Fintiri's leadership in strengthening the party and achieving effective governance under President Bola Tinubu's administration. He called on the people to support the APC, asserting that the party is committed to delivering democratic dividends.

Shettima also mentioned efforts to bring back notable politicians, including former Governor Muhammad Jibrilla Bindow and Senator Abdulaziz Nyako, to the APC. Nentaw Yilwalda, the national chairman of the APC, expressed gratitude for Fintiri's decision to join the party at a crucial time, assuring him of support as a full member.

The Vice President pledged to do whatever it takes to ensure the APC's success in the upcoming elections.
