Governor Fintiri Signs N583B 2026 Budget Amid Security Concerns in Adamawa

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State signed the N583 billion 2026 budget amid heightened security concerns, especially due to recent Boko Haram attacks in the state. The budget includes allocations for infrastructure, education, healthcare, job creation, and citizen welfare.

Fintiri has deployed trained forest guards in response to the security challenges faced by the state. The signing of the budget comes after the cancellation of a music concert to mark the new year.
