A fire broke out at the Madrid home of Brazilian footballer Vinicius Jr. on Thursday morning in the exclusive La Moraleja neighborhood. The incident, believed to have started in the sauna due to an electrical malfunction, completely destroyed the sauna and caused heavy smoke damage to several rooms.

Vinicius was not at home as he is currently training with the Brazilian national team. Quick response from firefighters and emergency services helped prevent the blaze from spreading further, with one injury reported.
