COAS Addresses Troops in Sokoto, Emphasizes Welfare and Discipline

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Shuaibu, visited the newly established 248 Battalion at Illela Barrack in Sokoto State. He assured troops of the Nigerian Army's commitment to their welfare and highlighted the importance of discipline, professionalism, and leadership in ensuring operational readiness.

The COAS also disclosed approved infrastructure projects to improve living and working conditions at the barracks. He emphasized the role of young officers in the battalion's success and the overall security of Nigeria.
