Fire Breaks Out at Lagos Airport's Old Terminal

A fire incident occurred at the old terminal of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, as confirmed by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). The firefighting team was swiftly mobilized to the scene to contain the situation and prevent further damage.

At the time of the report, FAAN assured the public that there were no recorded losses of life. The agency indicated that further updates would be provided as more information becomes available.

The old terminal is currently undergoing rehabilitation, with the federal government allocating N710 billion for the project. Prior to the fire outbreak, FAAN had relocated airline business operations from the old terminal to a temporary terminal while rehabilitation work was underway.
