Fire Outbreak Destroys Property in Gombe State, Prompt Response Prevents Casualties

In Gombe State, a fire incident occurred in Tumfur Quarter, destroying a two-bedroom flat and a three-bedroom detached residential building. The statement from the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Fire Service, Bashir Muazu, revealed that the fire was swiftly brought under control due to the professional firefighting response.

Fortunately, there were no casualties recorded. The estimated property value saved was around 25 million Naira, with a loss of about 5 million Naira.

Muazu acknowledged the collaborative support received from sister agencies and the community. He advised residents to prioritize fire safety measures at home to prevent such incidents.

This incident follows a recent fire outbreak in part of the popular Kano Market known as Singa Market, which caused damage to a section of the business area.
