Federal Fire Service Prevents Disaster in Gombe, Saves Property Worth 20 Million Naira

The Federal Fire Service in Gombe State successfully prevented a disaster by swiftly responding to a fire outbreak in a residential flat located in the Riyal Quarter of Gombe metropolis. The fire, which occurred behind Alhaji Adamu P House, affected a four-bedroom residential flat but was contained before spreading to nearby buildings.

ASF Bashir Muazu, the Public Relations Officer of the command, disclosed that the property was worth 7 million naira and was salvaged, preventing a total loss of property valued at 20 million naira. No casualties were recorded during the incident.

Residents were urged to remain vigilant and follow strict fire safety measures, especially regarding electrical appliances. The prompt intervention of the firefighting team was crucial in minimizing property damage and ensuring the safety of the neighborhood.
