All On Hosts Hackathon to Boost Clean Energy Innovation

All On, a renewable energy company established by Shell, organized a coding competition (hackathon) in Lagos to celebrate its 10th anniversary and to encourage young innovators to develop solutions for Nigeria's clean energy challenges. The event brought together students from the University of Lagos, Lagos State University, and Yaba College of Technology, with Team Current Creators emerging as the winners for their innovation, ColdLink.

Ms Caroline Eboumbou, the Chief Executive Officer of All On, stated that the hackathon aimed to inspire and empower the next generation of clean energy innovators while promoting sustainable energy access in Nigeria. She emphasized All On's decade-long commitment to supporting businesses and partnerships that drive clean energy adoption.

The company focuses on catalyzing the growth of Nigeria’s off-grid energy market by providing affordable and sustainable energy solutions for low-income households and small businesses, along with financial and non-financial support to local renewable energy firms.
