All On Launches Programme to Boost Clean Energy Start-ups

All On, an off-grid energy impact investment company, launched the Innovation Ecosystem Development Programme (AO-IEDP) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. This 12-month initiative is designed to accelerate the growth of clean energy start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Caroline Eboumbou, the Chief Executive Officer of All On, stated that the programme addresses a critical gap in Nigeria's clean energy ecosystem by supporting ventures at the ideation and prototype development stages. Ten participating entities will receive venture creation training, technical guidance, mentorship, and access to equipment and fabrication facilities to develop and test their solutions.

Eboumbou emphasized that while access to capital is crucial, early-stage ventures require more than funding to transform ideas into viable solutions. Muhammad Wakil, the Country Director for Nigeria at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, noted that ideas can only become viable businesses when entrepreneurs have access to facilities for building and testing their solutions.
