xlcreativehub Launches Screenwriting Contest for Creators

xlcreativehub has opened entries for its screenwriting contest, inviting creators to submit synopses for original feature-length film scripts. The submission deadline is March 16, 2026.

A judging panel consisting of Halima Odiegwu, Emil Guruba, and Kehind Joseph will review the entries from March 17 to March 20, with six finalists announced on March 20 during a live broadcast on the hub's YouTube channel. The selected finalists will participate in a creator residency in Abuja from March 22 to March 28, where they will receive mentorship and support to develop their scripts.

Public voting for the winner will take place from March 28 to April 6, with the overall winner announced on April 7, 2026. The program aims to provide a platform for discovering and developing new storytelling talent, offering a chance to turn scripts into film productions and share royalties.
