FirstBank Elephant Girls, a popular Nigerian basketball club, emerged as champions of the FIBA Africa Zone 3 qualifiers, earning a place in the Women's Basketball League of Africa (WBLA) Final Round in Cairo from December 5-14, 2025. The team delivered dominant and undefeated performances in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, securing victories against top teams from Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia, Benin Republic, Ghana, and Togo.
