Nigeria Appoints Coaches for U20 and U17 National Teams

Abdu Maikaba has been appointed as the head coach of the Nigeria U20 Men's National Team, with Ortega Deniran serving as the first assistant and Abdullahi Biffo as the second assistant. Usman Moham will act as the goalkeeper trainer.

This coaching staff is tasked with building a new Flying Eagles squad, aiming to make Nigeria proud. Maikaba has previously worked as an assistant coach and has experience from two FIFA World Cup tournaments, where he helped the Flying Eagles secure silver medals.

The team is set to resume camp in Abuja on Sunday, May 17, in preparation for the upcoming WAFU B U20 Championship scheduled for July, which will serve as a qualifier for next year's Africa U20 Cup of Nations. Additionally, Eboborits Uwejamomer has been appointed as the head coach of the Nigeria U17 Boys National Team, with Olumid Joseph and Ajibolad as first and second assistants, respectively.

The U17 team is also preparing for the WAFU B U17 Championship in September, which will qualify for next year's Africa U17 Cup of Nations.
