Nigeria U-20 and U-17 Coaches Appoint Assistant Staff

The newly appointed head coaches for Nigeria's U-20 and U-17 men's national football teams have selected their assistant coaches as part of the squad rebuilding process ahead of major championships. Abdu Maikaba, the head coach of the U-20 team, has appointed Ortega Deniran as the first assistant, Abdullahi Biffo as the second assistant, and Usman Moham as the goalkeeper trainer.

Maikaba has previously served as an assistant coach and has experience managing Nigeria's leading clubs. The team is set to resume camp in Abuja on Sunday in preparation for the WAFU B U-20 Championship in July, which will serve as a qualifier for next year's Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Similarly, Eboborits Uwejamomer, the newly appointed head coach of the U-17 team, has selected Olumid Ajibolad as the first assistant, Moham Kachala as the second assistant, and Abdullahi Isa as the goalkeeper trainer. The U-17 team aims to return to the FIFA U-17 World Cup final and challenge for their sixth global title, with the WAFU B U-17 Championship scheduled for September, serving as a qualifier for next year's Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
