Osimhen Plans Return to School Amid Football Success

Victor Osimhen, a prominent striker for Napoli and the Super Eagles, has announced his intention to return to school to obtain a university degree, highlighting the transient nature of a football career. In an interview, Osimhen reflected on the invaluable life lessons learned outside of formal education and expressed hope to complete his academic journey.

He acknowledged that while football has transformed his life, its career span is limited, likely lasting 20 to 25 years. Osimhen aims to motivate young people, particularly those facing financial challenges, to not abandon their education, stating that dropping out of school does not signify the end of their academic journey.

He has previously donated 10 million Naira to support the development of an academy in Ogun State, urging young footballers to prioritize education alongside their sports careers.
