Court Reschedules Arraignment of Loft & Keys CEO to Oct. 5

Justice Ibrahim Ahmad Kala of the Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned the arraignment of Austin Albert, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Loft & Keys Ltd and Loft & Keys LLC, Dubai, and his associate Jinadu Musbau Olalekan, to October 5, 2026. They face allegations of forgery, money laundering, unlawful transfer of funds, and a fraud amounting to N460.75 million.

The arraignment was initially set for July 23 but was postponed due to Albert's absence, as he was reportedly undergoing major surgery in Dubai. Defence counsel Abdulhakeem Adio informed the court of Albert's situation and mentioned ongoing efforts to settle the dispute out of court.

The prosecution, represented by G. T.

Nev, challenged the absence of a medical report to substantiate Albert's claim. The Inspector General of Police has filed a five-count amended charge against the defendants, alleging they conspired to fraudulently transfer N460,750,000 from Premiere Immigration and Advisory Limited's account without authorization.
