APM Names Laja Adeoye as Lagos Guber Candidate for 2027

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has officially uploaded Prince Laja Adeoye as its governorship candidate for Lagos State on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, marking him as the first candidate registered for the upcoming February 6, 2027, governorship election. Coker Oluwatobi Adeyemi Grace has been announced as Adeoye’s running mate.

This decision was made following a strategic meeting led by Lagos State Chairman Mrs Bunmi Adeyemo and Otunba S. Alebiosu, Coordinator of the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organisation (LACO), at the party's national headquarters in Abuja.

Adeoye expressed that Nigerians are seeking a new direction in governance, criticizing the current administration under the APC. He unveiled his campaign agenda, “Atunto Eko,” which focuses on economic growth, accountability, security, youth empowerment, and infrastructure renewal.

The APM is also working on strengthening its grassroots presence in Lagos through mobilization efforts across local government areas.
