Fury, who has not fought in 16 months, expressed his eagerness to return to the ring and stated that he believes a fight with Joshua could happen soon. He noted the unpredictability of heavyweight boxing and the potential for anything to go wrong.

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, has indicated a preference for Joshua to have a warm-up fight before facing Fury. However, Fury insists that Joshua should forget about Wilder and focus on their potential matchup, stating, "let's dance" and expressing his readiness to fight by the end of the year.
