Wilder Challenges Joshua for Rematch After Chisora Win

Deontay Wilder, after winning against Derek Chisora at the O2 Arena in London, has expressed his desire to fight Anthony Joshua again, stating, “Let’s do it again!” Wilder, a two-time world heavyweight champion, walked past Joshua post-fight, exchanging a fist bump and encouraging him to be ready for a potential bout. Joshua, who has been in the spotlight following a car crash that killed two friends in Nigeria, is preparing for a long-anticipated fight against Tyson Fury.

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, emphasized the focus on making the Fury fight happen. Wilder's recent victory improved his record to 45 wins out of 50 fights, while Joshua last fought on December 19, 2022, against Jake Paul, where he lost in the sixth round.

Wilder's win over Chisora was decided by split decision with scores of 115-111, 115-113, and 115-112. The potential Joshua-Wilder fight is tentatively scheduled for 2024, depending on Wilder's performance against Joseph Parker.
