Hyacinth Dajoh Leaves APC for PDP Amid Internal Disputes

Hyacinth Dajoh, the former Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, has officially defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This decision was confirmed in Makurdi by the former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, through a statement issued by his media aide, Agber Kulugh.

Dajoh's departure from the APC follows prolonged internal disputes and failed reconciliation efforts within the party. Upon joining the PDP, Dajoh participated in the party's Benue North West senatorial primary elections, where Eunic Ortom emerged as the PDP senatorial candidate.

Dajoh reaffirmed his commitment to unity and inclusive leadership, emphasizing the need to prioritize the interests of the people of Gboko West and Benue State as a whole. This development is seen as part of the ongoing political reshuffle in Benue State ahead of future elections.
