Former Chelsea star David Luiz has been caught in a cheating scandal after a leaked Instagram text revealed he was allegedly texting another woman. The Brazilian model, Karol Cavalacantes, claimed that Luiz had been in contact with her, requesting to meet a friend.

Luiz, known for his devout evangelical Christian beliefs, denied meeting the woman but acknowledged a brief communication. The footballer's agency has also denied any official meeting between the two.

Luiz, who recently joined Cypriot club Pafos after leaving Arsenal in 2021, has been in a relationship with partner Bruna Luireiro since 2017, with two daughters together. Despite the allegations, Luiz and his partner have not issued an official statement addressing the situation.

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, who played alongside Luiz, confirmed that they remained best friends and co-parents to their child.
