Former IGP Usman Alkali Baba Enters Yobe Governorship Race

Usman Alkali Baba, the former Inspector General of Police, has announced his candidacy for the 2027 Yobe State governorship election. He expressed his desire to build upon the current administration's efforts to advance the state, particularly in education, agriculture, and healthcare.
