Former Imo Deputy Governor Eze Madumere Resigns from APC

Eze Madumere, who served as the Deputy Governor of Imo State during the administration of former Governor Rochas Okorocha, has officially resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC). His resignation, effective immediately, was communicated through a letter dated March 17, where he noted that the decision followed deep personal reflection on his political journey within the party.

Madumere described the move as difficult yet necessary, indicating a desire to pursue a new political direction. He expressed gratitude for the relationships built during his time in the APC and hopes to maintain cordial relations moving forward.

The resignation letter was addressed to the APC chairman of the Ezinihitt Ward in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State. While Madumere did not disclose his future political plans, he urged party leadership and members to understand his decision.
