Isa Ashiru Leaves PDP, Joins African Democratic Congress

Isa Ashiru, who was the former gubernatorial candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, has announced his decision to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This announcement was made official on Saturday, with Ashiru stating that he will formally register with the ADC on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM, insha Allah.

The registration will take place in Kudan Ward, located in Kudan Local Government Area. Ashiru expressed optimism regarding this transition, viewing it as a significant step towards continuing his work for the progress and development of the people.

This move follows his formal resignation from the PDP, which he submitted to the party chairman of Kudan Ward on Friday, March 27, 2026, marking the end of his affiliation with the party.
