Hayatu-Deen Joins ADC, Advocates for Political Change

Hayatu-Deen, a former presidential aspirant from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). In a statement released by his media office on Sunday, he expressed that his decision was influenced by the shrinking democratic space in Nigeria and the urgent need for a credible alternative capable of delivering security, economic stability, and job creation. Hayatu-Deen lamented the worsening insecurity and rising cost of living, which he believes are significant challenges facing the nation. He warned that the democratic institutions are under strain and that Nigerians deserve a genuine opposition that offers real choices. He pledged to leverage his decades of experience in business and economic reform to support the ADC in the lead-up to the 2027 elections.
