Former PSG Star Nambatingu Tokomon Dies at 73, Club Pays Emotional Tribute

Former PSG star Nambatingu Tokomon, aged 73, has passed away after a prolonged illness. Tokomon, a Chadian forward, scored PSG's first-ever goal on the continental stage.

He made 171 appearances and scored 42 goals during his five seasons with PSG from 1980 to 1986. Tokomon played a key role in guiding PSG to the French championship title in 1982 and 1983.

He also helped shape the club's identity during his time there. Niyi Adeyemi Ogunlana, the Kwara Secretary, confirmed Tokomon's death, expressing condolences on behalf of the late player's friends and fans.
