Danjuma Shiddi Resigns from ADC Over Political Concerns

Danjuma Usman Shiddi, a former member of the House of Representatives for Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency, officially resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on March 18, 2026. In his resignation letter addressed to the party chairman of Puje Ward in Wukari Local Government, Shiddi expressed concerns regarding the current political climate, which he believes jeopardizes the long-term political interests of the people he represents in Taraba State.

He noted that his decision to leave the ADC followed personal reflections and a realization that the party's strategic alignment no longer aligns with his vision. Despite his departure, Shiddi acknowledged the relationships he built within the ADC and expressed gratitude for the support he received during his time with the party.

He emphasized his commitment to serving the community and requested the removal of his name from the party's membership database, extending his best wishes to the ADC for its future endeavors. A copy of his resignation letter was confirmed to have been sent to the ADC chairman of Wukari Council and the state chairman of the party.
