Osun Student Wins Gamaliel Onosod Academic Excellence Award

The Gamaliel Susan Onosod Foundation honored Master Ajisaf Qoreebullah Olamilekan, a former secondary school student from Osun State, with the Gamaliel Onosod Award for Academic Excellence. This recognition was for his exceptional performance in the 2024/2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, where he achieved straight grades across all subjects.

The award was presented during the 13th anniversary celebration of the Gamaliel Onosod Foundation on May 22, 2026, at Eeman Foundation College in Borip Community, Osogbo. Mr.

Toyin Olanrewaju, the Executive Director of Gamsu, stated that the award aims to celebrate outstanding academic achievements and promote a culture of discipline and consistency among young Nigerians. The award package included a certificate of recognition, a laptop, and a cash gift of N250,000.

Gamsu, a non-profit organization established in May 2013, focuses on improving access to quality education, infrastructure development, scholarships, teacher support, and youth empowerment programs.
