Five Charged with Murder in Sheffield Baby's Death

Four adults and a 15-year-old girl have been charged in connection with the death of a newborn baby girl in Sheffield. The baby was discovered at a residence on Holywell Heights in the Wincobank area on Sunday morning after police received calls expressing concerns for her safety.
The individuals charged include two men, aged 19 and 38, and two women, aged 20 and 37. They face charges of murder, causing or allowing the death of a child, and perverting the course of justice by allegedly attempting to conceal the circumstances of the infant's death.
The 15-year-old girl has been charged solely with perverting the course of justice and cannot be named due to her age. All five suspects are currently remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.
The investigation is ongoing as detectives seek to clarify the circumstances surrounding the baby's death.
