France Tests New FLP T 150 Long-Range Rocket Launcher

France has conducted a successful test of its new FLP T 150 long-range rocket launcher, as stated in a joint announcement by Thales Group and ArianeGroup. This test aligns with France's strategic move to bolster its military capabilities.

Last month, the French government unveiled plans to increase defense spending by an additional €36 billion, bringing the total to €39 billion by 2030. This updated military program aims to expand missile and drone stockpiles and reflects the country's response to rising security concerns linked to the war in Ukraine and uncertainties surrounding U.S. support for NATO under President Donald Trump.

The collaboration between Thales Group and ArianeGroup, which is jointly owned by Airbus and Safran, signifies a significant step in enhancing France's defense technology.
