Fire Destroys Eight Shops in Ibadan Market, No Casualties

On June 3, 2026, at approximately 02:33 AM, a fire outbreak occurred at No. 2 Mobolorunduro Balaro Street, Oju Odo Academy area in Ibadan, Oyo State, affecting eight shops. The Oyo State Fire Service Agency, led by Moroof Akinwand, received an emergency call and quickly mobilized to the scene.

Firefighters discovered that the blaze had already spread across several shops but managed to contain it to prevent further damage to nearby properties. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
