Student Injured During Good Friday Passion Play Performance

Denni Zziwa, a second-year law student at Kampala International University, sustained injuries while performing in a Good Friday passion play at Ladi Africa Church. The annual reenactment, which depicts the suffering of Jesus Christ, took a dangerous turn during a scene that involved heavy physical action.

Eyewitnesses described the moment as emotional and concerning, noting that the situation appeared to exceed safe performance limits. The Red Cross was present at the event and administered first aid before Zziwa was transported to Lamon Health Center for further medical treatment.
