FRSC Confirms 7 Dead, 70 Injured in Kano Lone Accident

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed that seven people died and 70 others sustained injuries in a lone accident in Kano. The accident, which occurred along Hadejia Road in Kwanar Danja, involved a commercial vehicle, a DAF trailer with registration number KTG 467 YG, carrying a total of 105 passengers and goods.

Of the injured, 55 were male and 15 were female. The victims were promptly evacuated to various hospitals, including Sunusi Specialist Hospital, Gezawa General Hospital, Murtala Moham Specialist Hospital, and Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital.

The FRSC Sector Command warned motorists, especially commercial drivers, against speeding and reckless driving. The public was advised to adhere strictly to traffic regulations to prevent further loss of lives.
