FRSC Intercepts Overloaded Vehicle on Bauchi-Kari Road

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) intercepted an overloaded vehicle on the Bauchi-Kari road, as reported by Mr. Osondu Ohaeri, the Public Education Officer of the Bauchi unit command.

Ohaeri described the action as reckless and a blatant violation of safety regulations, which poses a grave risk to passengers. He emphasized that overloading compromises vehicle stability and increases stopping distance, thereby endangering road users.

Ohaeri warned that no journey is worth the loss of human life and urged drivers and vehicle owners to strictly adhere to prescribed load limits, treating human beings as cargo is unacceptable. He reaffirmed the FRSC's commitment to intensifying enforcement against traffic violations to ensure the safety of road users nationwide.
