FRSC Returns N3.7 Million After Zaria Accident Recovery

On March 15, 2026, a road accident occurred near Zaria Academy when two vehicles carrying nine passengers collided, leading to one fatality and eight injuries. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) promptly responded to the distress call, providing emergency assistance at the scene and evacuating the injured victims to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Shika for treatment.

During the rescue operation, FRSC officials recovered N3,727,500 in cash and personal belongings from the accident scene. These items were secured and later returned to their rightful owners under the supervision of the Zaria Unit Command, led by Nasiru Falgor.

Felicia Kalu, the FRSC Public Relations Officer, issued a statement reaffirming the Corps' commitment to professionalism and transparency in protecting lives and property during rescue operations.
