FRSC Returns N1.12m to Family of Deceased Motorist

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) returned a sum of N1.12 million recovered from a fatal road crash to the family of the deceased motorist, Mallam Aliyu Moham Bala. The crash occurred on April 11, 2026, in Idu Village along the Gegu-Abaji route, involving a Toyota Corolla with registration number GWP418CV and a Volkswagen Golf with registration number RBC220DG.

Mallam Bala sustained serious injuries and was later confirmed dead at the hospital despite rescue efforts. The FRSC's Zebra team carefully recovered the sum of N1.12 million and other personal valuables from the crash scene, documenting the process in line with standard operating procedures.

A solemn event was held on April 20, 2026, where the money was formally handed over to Mr. Bala Yakubu, the elder brother of the deceased, in the presence of N.

Yusuf Aminu Mahmud Maku and other senior officers. The gesture was described as a reflection of the FRSC's ethics and commitment to accountability, and the agency extended condolences to the bereaved family.
