FRSC Promotes 120 Officers to Enhance Leadership Capacity

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) announced the promotion of 120 senior officers to higher ranks as part of an initiative to strengthen leadership capacity and enhance institutional performance. The promotions, approved by the Secretary of the Government of the Federation, will take effect on January 1, 2026.

Among those promoted, 19 officers were elevated to the rank of Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM), 55 to Deputy Corps Commandant (DCC), and 46 to Assistant Corps Commandant (ACC). Felicia Kalu, the FRSC spokesperson, highlighted that these promotions recognize the officers' exemplary service records and leadership competencies.

The Corps Marshal, Malam Shehu Moham, congratulated the newly promoted officers, emphasizing that the exercise reflects the FRSC's commitment to excellence and discipline. He urged the beneficiaries to justify the confidence placed in them by demonstrating a higher level of dedication to their leadership roles and responsibilities.

The promotions are not merely rewards but a call for greater responsibility in advancing the FRSC's mandate to reduce road traffic crashes and ensure safer motor environments across Nigeria.
